A nice value at the outlet price

This wig can be much prettier in person than it is in the manufacturer's photos (which look quite dated), but it takes some patience. After washing, conditioning, and customizing, the style can be transformed into a more modern short ****. The cap was a bit large on me and required some minor alteration across the back, but since the wig is open wefted, alterations were very easy to accomplish. Once fitted, the cap is comfortable, especially because there is no scratchy lace front, and there is a soft mono top. The open wefts allow a lot of air in, and are not visible. The hair's native texture is coarse and very straight. I've found that it does not hold curl, even with a lot of product, and looks best when simply nudged into place via a flat iron. The style also looks best with a very light fringe (on me, at least) and not with all of the heavy volume toward the face, as shown in the photos. At the outlet price, this is a good value for a human hair wig at a price point comparable to a synthetic piece, but not for someone who expects a piece that is wearable "out of the box." Everyone's head is different, and that will affect the wig's cut and style, and of course, everyone has different expectations. For me, after a few washes, conditionings, cap alterations, and a lot of thinning and trimming that I could do myself, Petite Lori has become a welcome addition to my wig wardrobe. Thanks to Wig Outlet, I could afford to test my customization skills on this piece, and I'm glad that I did.
