First, it looks nothing like in the picture. It's a lot more shaggy and with a bit more volume. I'd say it's medium density, but very light fine hair. It looks so realistic including some flyaways. What I was surprised about is that it doesn't ride up on my nape. The broader design there makes it really stick there. I'd say the cap size is average/petite. I bought it in Princess Ivory and was surprised that it is a warm blonde. The description says creamy and that fits, but the picture makes it seem a lot cooler. It's grown on me though. So why only 4 stars? The monopart is very slim and the corners are white and stand out. So you really need to hit the middle so it looks realistic. Also in my copy the monopart is wobbly, which makes it more difficult to do the part. It's not visibly wobbly at least, but it does bother me. All that said I loved it enough that I ordered it in another color.
I first purchased Karla in Velvet Cream. The swatch on the site is a Very poor representation of the color. The wig was brown with a small amount of blonde highlights. However I loved the style and fit, very flattering. It was a clearance item and non returnable. However I reordered it in princess ivory and wear it a lot. It is my go to wig now.
I bought Karla before and really liked it, so I bought one on clearance without worrying. Unfortunately it’s not the same Karla. Fibers are unevenly cut and stick out no matter how much I tried to tame them with products. Some fibers in front and along the lace part are too short as if someone cut them. The lace part is made with striped lace that looks unnatural. I compared the two side by side and they are clearly different. I don’t know if I got unlucky to get a second quality clearance wig or all of them are defective like this, but it’s not returnable, unfortunately.
