How to measure head size
To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline. Jot down your measurement then consult the table below. Please note that sizes may vary slightly by brand.
Many wigs come in petite, average and large cap sizes. Average size wigs, however, tend to fit about 90-95% of customers. See wig size chart below, so you are able to determine the best cap size for you!

The Heather wig by Rene in color Midnight Pearl is very nicely cut and styled but needs some trimming if you don't like hair in your eyes. The long bangs did not want to stay on one side so I had to trim it. After measuring my head as per the instructions, I ordered the Average size. According to the size information it should have been a perfect fit however, it's quite tight and I worry that it might slide up all around once I wear it for any time. If it hadn't been a close out with no other choice I would have sent it back for a large. The hair looks nice in natural light but has a 'wiggy' shine in indoor conditions. I am happy with the amount of hair, not too much. The wig has some damage on one side of the back, where a piece of the foundation with some hair attached sticks out so I'll have to try to remove that small strip. I don't think it will be noticeable. I hope not anyway. If the style was still available and in a large size, I would order it again in spite of its drawbacks. I had to use a lot of spray to keep the hair arranged the way it looked best on me, which brings me to the Beauty Mark care products I ordered with the wig. I ordered the package with everything in it because it was the cheapest way to get what I actually wanted. I'll never use the 'brilliant shine' and the 'styling cream' had no appreciable effect when I tried to arrange the long bangs to the side, only the 'styling spray' worked for that.
