How to measure head size
To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline. Jot down your measurement then consult the table below. Please note that sizes may vary slightly by brand.
Many wigs come in petite, average and large cap sizes. Average size wigs, however, tend to fit about 90-95% of customers. See wig size chart below, so you are able to determine the best cap size for you!

Just received this, further evidence as to why Ellen Wille's my favorite in synthetic toppers. Really lovely quality, texture, color. If you, as I, saw the review about this topper tangling horribly, I can say that had to be an anomaly, a bad return or such. Out of the box, I could run fingers completely through this topper. I also fail to agree with the other review here, that this is too dense. I'm old enough to have silver bio hair and am very sensitive about displaying a density which no one my age would naturally have. As stated in the on-line video, Ellen Wille creates a more European low-density topper. It also stated that "Stream" is a longer version of "Effect", which was my favorite synthetic until I grew my bio hair longer. No, not to 17.5"; I plan to cut this topper to 13", at most. No, it's not as curly as the photo, but has lovely waves. (For the reviewer who was afraid to try to make hers curlier, this online video states there's another Wille video, which explains in detail how you wet the synthetic hair, curl it tightly and walk away until it dries and sets. She said it would last through some 4 washings, before needing re-curling.) I was worried about the "rooted" factor, being so fair that I really can't wear very dark hair around my face. These roots are a very light brown; all the shades in this new color are just amazingly natural together. I LOVE this topper and, if you're on-the-fence about it, would suggest you give it a try. The photo of the topper (with the woman looking over her shoulder) showed it styled differently than when it arrived, or how it has stayed. It actually has bigger waves, not the touseled look of the photo- and I really liked the photo which is why I bought it. The topper is very dense, which as a new user/wearer, has taken getting used to. I have had to thin it out. But the biggest disappointment was the styling. I am afraid to re-style it and lose what wave there is. Would I buy it again? no, not knowing that it doesn't come looking like the photo. Otherwise, great quality, though-good brand.
