How to measure head size
To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline. Jot down your measurement then consult the table below. Please note that sizes may vary slightly by brand.
Many wigs come in petite, average and large cap sizes. Average size wigs, however, tend to fit about 90-95% of customers. See wig size chart below, so you are able to determine the best cap size for you!

I'm new to wig wearing and I've always worn XLarge hats - 7 7/8! So I've been assuming I need a Large Cap wig. I ordered one and thought it looked odd on me because of the lack of highlighting color. I exchanged it for a glazed version and, still, it looked odd. I also ordered an average cap wig that was on a great sale. Turns out, I'm not a Large Cap! So I'll return the Voltage Large and keep trying different styles. It is very pretty so I may try the Average cap size. Not sure, yet! But I do like working with the Wig Outlet team. Very helpful.
